Sep. 23—A person is suspected of scamming people of greater than $100,000 after persuading victims to switch money to him underneath the guise that he would invest it in cryptocurrency, in line with Spokane police.
The suspect, who many victims consult with as “Crypto Mike,” takes the money and disappears, in line with a Spokane Police Division information launch.
Police consider there could also be extra victims. Officers consider the suspect, who has not been charged, left the Spokane space and has an arrest warrant for theft in California.
