A hacker who exploited a vulnerability within the CashioApp cryptocurrency trade has begun laundering stolen funds by Tornado Cash, a privacy-focused mixing service. CashioApp suffered the hack in March due to an ‘infinite mint glitch’, dropping almost $52.8 million value of property from the mission.
In accordance to Peckshield, the “CashioApp Exploiter 2” pockets has initiated the laundering of stolen funds by the usage of Tornado Cash. Roughly 2,300 Ethereum ($ETH) have been traced to this motion.
It’s alleged that the person behind the labeled “CashioApp Exploiter 2” tackle has begun funneling stolen funds by Tornado Cash, a privacy-focused platform recognized for obfuscating transaction trails.
