Unauthorized Debit Card Expenses at Goal Reported by Sufferer
On November 18, Officer Paul Alvaro met with the sufferer of fraud within the Hopewell Township Police Division (HTPD) foyer. The sufferer reported that they discovered two unauthorized fees on their debit card assertion. Each fees have been made to Goal and totaled $70.64. On November 26, Sgt Mark Panzano met with the sufferer of theft and fraud at their residence. The sufferer reported that $60,000 in cryptocurrency was stolen from their Binance account. The sufferer logged into their account on the day gone by and discovered that the funds within the account have been lacking. It appeared as if the account was hacked and the funds have been stolen. On November 30, Officer Eric Lei responded to the Cease&Store on Denow Street for a reported shoplifting that occurred on November 27. Loss prevention reported that two events entered the shop on November 27 and stole roughly $421 price of groceries and magnificence merchandise. The suspects have been recognized as one male and one feminine. Each events are seen exiting the shop with out cost. Surveillance was turned over to police for additional investigation.
