LANSING, Mich. — A West Michigan representative desires the state of Michigan to invest in cryptocurrency.
Rep. Bryan Posthumus drafted three payments that may do the next if handed:
- Enable state officers to invest in cryptocurrency.
- Broaden Bitcoin mining at industrially zoned properties.
- Set up a crypto coin branded for Michigan, with a worth tied to gold and silver.
Posthumus says he believes cryptocurrency presents a possibility for the Mitten State.
“Michigan has led in industries in the previous. We led in manufacturing. We led throughout the Industrial Revolution with the car and workplace furnishings manufacturing. For the final decade, twenty years, we’ve not been main,” says Representative Posthumus. “That is our alternative to lead once more and lead into the long run.”
Posthumus acknowledges not everyone seems to be snug with cryptocurrency however he says that’s as a result of they don’t perceive it. For that motive, he intends to publish movies on social media to educate the general public.
