BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Alexa Sciuto, a Baltimore teacher recognized for her satirical social media posts on points akin to LGBTQ rights, has filed a lawsuit towards a bunch of Republican state delegates and others, alleging they’re conspiring to wreck her profession.
The lawsuit names Republican Delegates Lauren Arikan, Robin Grammer, Ryan Nawrocki, and Kathy Szeliga, in addition to members of the conservative guardian group Mothers for Liberty and the person behind the right-wing social media account Libs of TikTok.
Sciuto accuses the defendants of “conspiring to derail her profession.” Nonetheless, some Republican lawmakers, not named within the lawsuit however half of Maryland’s Freedom Caucus, have defended their colleagues.
