The Trump family has pivoted towards digital assets, launching products and supporting the decentralized finance platform World Liberty Financial, which recently applied for a banking license. This move comes amid claims that traditional banks, including JPMorgan and Bank of America, have denied them services. Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., stated that the family’s shift to crypto was a necessity after being “debanked.” Meanwhile, JPMorgan has denied such claims and has not responded to requests for comment.
