Sui has launched the Bitcoin financial protocol Hashi, aiming to enhance Bitcoin’s presence in decentralized finance (DeFi). Despite Bitcoin’s market capitalization surpassing $1 trillion, less than 0.5% is currently engaged in DeFi activities. Hashi seeks to increase this adoption, backed by support from prominent institutions such as BitGo, Bullish, Erebor Bank, FalconX, Fordefi, and Ledger.
