MoonPay, the Dogecoin Foundation, and House of Doge have collectively donated 1 million Dogecoins to the AKC Humane Fund. This initiative, announced on Monday, also includes a $95,000 cryptocurrency donation from MoonPay, aimed at supporting shelter assistance for pet owners affected by domestic violence, stray dog rescue, and veterinary support for economically challenged families across the U.S.
The partnership, which extends beyond the initial donation, involves MoonPay Commerce to facilitate ongoing crypto contributions to the American Kennel Club Humane Foundation. MoonPay CEO Keith Grossman highlighted the initiative as a significant step towards mainstream cryptocurrency adoption, emphasizing the positive impact of the Dogecoin community.
