Upshift has introduced Upshift Clear, a new platform designed to facilitate instant redemption of tokenized real-world assets (RWAs). Partnering with Superstate, Upshift Clear aims to eliminate the “settlement gap” in tokenization by using on-chain bridging capital logic. The platform features a USDC vault that provides immediate liquidity to RWA holders, allowing them to redeem assets instantly, bypassing traditional settlement processes.
The platform’s innovative approach allows liquidity providers to pre-deposit funds into the vault, earning fees from redemption premiums. This mechanism ensures that RWA holders receive instant liquidity similar to stablecoins, enhancing their usability within decentralized finance (DeFi). Initially, Upshift Clear will support Superstate’s crypto arbitrage fund, enabling liquidity providers to deposit USDC and earn through clrRWA receipt tokens. This development follows Bitwise’s recent announcement to manage Superstate’s $267 million tokenized USCC fund.
