LOS ANGELES — One of the crucial standard tales within the “Star Wars” anime anthology is increasing right into a full sequence this summer time.
Lucasfilm and animation studio Manufacturing I.G introduced that “Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi,” an eight-episode restricted anime sequence, will premiere Aug. 5 on Disney+ and Hulu.
Supervising director Kenji Kamiyama, director Shunsuke Tada and producer Hitoshi Ito debuted the sequence’ trailer and teaser poster at a panel throughout Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles.
