The Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, has directed the closure of all markets, retailers and stalls throughout Akure, Ondo State, on August 17 and September 1, 2026, to mark the annual Aheregbe and Amole festivals.
The directive was contained in a press release issued on Friday by the monarch’s Chief Press Secretary, Adeyeye Michael.
