Layer-1 blockchain Injective has registered with the US Securities and Trade Fee as a switch agent, as it strikes to broaden its tokenization enterprise for institutional real-world property within the US.
Bitcoin.com reported on August 21 that Injective’s institutional companies unit had registered with the SEC as a switch agent. Injective mentioned it’s the first layer-1 blockchain to safe SEC transfer-agent standing.
A switch agent maintains official possession information for securities and handles work together with securities transfers, dividend distributions and shareholder administration. Injective mentioned the registration permits it to use blockchain infrastructure for these capabilities whereas complying with US securities rules.
Injective mentioned the registration reveals it has established the regulatory record-management framework required by US capital markets. The corporate added that it has constructed the total infrastructure wanted for on-chain capital markets.
