Ondo has urged the US Securities and Change Fee and the Commodity Futures Buying and selling Fee to enable stock-based perpetual futures in the US market.
Cointelegraph reported on September 2 that Ondo argues present US rules already enable such merchandise, making new guidelines pointless.
Perpetual futures are derivatives with no expiration date, in contrast to commonplace futures. They’re broadly used in crypto markets, however stock-based variations stay constrained by regulation in the US.
