Multiliquid, an institutional-grade tokenized asset liquidity protocol under Uniform Labs, has closed its seed funding round led by Polychain with participation from Strobe Ventures, CMT Digital, Metalayer Ventures, Generative Ventures, and Circle Ventures. Combined with a prior pre-seed round, the project has raised $8 million to build instant conversion infrastructure between blue-chip tokenized assets and stablecoins. CEO Will Beeson confirmed there are currently no plans to issue a native protocol token.
The protocol enables one-click exchanges between tokenized money market funds or Treasury products and USDC at net asset value within a single transaction, bypassing traditional T+1 redemption cycles. Targeting corporate treasuries, liquidity providers, and asset issuers, Multiliquid aims to solve settlement frictions in the $39 billion on-chain RWA market where tokenized Treasuries and money market funds represent approximately $15 billion. Revenue is generated through basis point fees on completed transactions.
Capital will be deployed to expand engineering teams, onboard additional liquidity partners, and integrate more tokenized cash and Treasury products across EVM-compatible networks and Solana. The team brings extensive traditional finance experience, including leadership roles at Allica Bank, Standard Chartered’s Libeara platform, UniCredit’s buddybank, and Arca. Pilot transactions have commenced, with plans to scale liquidity provider onboarding in the fourth quarter.
