Vietnam ranked fourth globally in cryptocurrency trade quantity recorded by Binance in Could, totaling $20.84 billion, in response to inner paperwork from the corporate seen by The Wall Road Journal.
China led at $90.08 billion and accounted for 20% of Binance’s whole trade that month, adopted by South Korea ($58.32 billion), and Turkey ($44.42 billion).
Binance is the biggest cryptocurrency trade in the world in phrases of every day buying and selling quantity. It has been working since 2017.
An earlier report by Nikkei Asia had stated that from July 2021 to June 2022, Vietnam recorded $112.6 billion in cryptocurrency trade, second in Southeast Asia behind Thailand at $135.9 billion.
In 2022, for the second consecutive 12 months, Vietnam ranked first in the Global Cryptocurrency Adoption Index launched by Chainalysis, a blockchain market evaluation firm.
