SUI–Grace. Our Expensive Mom, Grace Kuang Sui, born on November ninth, 1926, departed this mortal world Wednesday morning, January twenty eighth, peacefully at dwelling in the beginning of her one hundredth 12 months. She was accompanied by her three youngsters and members of her Household. It was a sunlit winter morning, and the light glint of God’s superb love welcomed her spirit. She was a chic beacon of goodness. A strong, compassionate mild that illuminated our soul and catalyzed our aspirations. Grace was the very best of us. A matriarch unequaled that unfold love and quiet energy to all. A Grandmother and Nice Grandmother that impressed by instance to future generations. To her fantastic siblings, the eldest of 11, she was a “chieftress” who blazed the trail via a struggle-torn world and political tectonic shifts. She rose via these troubled instances to grow to be a courageous pioneer who left China on her personal in 1948. She traveled to postwar Paris to review artwork on the Sorbonne. She would meet her lifelong husband, Paul (predeceased in April 2013). Following our father’s completion of research on the Ecole Nationale Des Ponts et Chaussees, our father, with Mother quickly to observe and baby Bobby in tow, once more left all the things they knew to dwell within the New World of the 1950’s America the Stunning. We thank them for his or her braveness, willpower and foresight. Lots of their siblings ultimately adopted their instance and commenced lives within the land of alternative. Grace beloved her flowers, she beloved her birds, and her perennial kaleidoscope of splendor created by dawn and sundown’s alchemy with the lake. Most of all she adored her Household. She was the proud daughter of Chih Fang and Ih-Che Fang (nee Matsue Ueki). She was Mom to Bobby, Anna and Eddy. She was Mom-in-legislation to Jeanette Sui, Christine Hunt and Jeannie Gained ders. She was Grandmother to Clark (Stephanie), Grant, Jackson (Hadley), Jeannie Casandra, Isabelle (David), Chase, Perry, Grace and Probability. Nice Grandmother to Drake, Pierce and Rhodes. Her siblings and their spouses we honor: Fred and Juliana, Ann and Raymond, Frank and Louise, Lily and Leon, Emily and John, Edith, Irene and Hamilton, Shirley and Tom, David and Blanche, Catherine, and Jolson and Mary. Above all we’re appreciative of Mother’s kindness and humility she supplied to all she encountered. We miss her dearly. By no means has there been an individual so aptly named as Grace. There might be a celebration of a life properly lived in honor of our mom revolving across the Fourth of July 2026 at her beloved lake home. Date to be introduced.
